Due to its material properties, it is almost indestructible. 

The coated cast iron protects it from corrosion, stores heat excellently and distributes it evenly across the entire basket. The fired coals can therefore continue to burn evenly and efficiently. 

Another factor that speaks in favor of the material is the high weight of the Flare. We designed it so that it has an extremely low center of gravity and is therefore extremely resistant to tipping. This means that even if you knock it over, it will right itself and the coals will most likely stay in the basket.
